Bees are Necessary

The first amulet for the Immanence Arts bee-line is in the works and inspired by these lovely creatures who are presently in rapid decline due to pesticides, loss of habitat, other threats and a mysterious disease called Colony Collapse Disorder. Due to a growing awareness of the bee/human plight, many are making an effort to re-bee the world that has resulted in increasing numbers of urban beekeepers, a bee renaissance. Many newcomers feel it is an antidote to a growing disconnection from nature and feeling of environmental helplessness while others are drawn to the magical sensuousness of bee medicine, products and culture.
